MidiEditor is a free software providing an interface to edit, record, and play Midi song files. 

If you set the Settings / MIDI Out to Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth, you can use your Windows computer's onboard sound to preview what each track in the MIDI song file is intended to sound like, and decide if you want to delete any tracks before loading the MIDI song file into Ableton Live. Remember that
