No experience required! EML welcomes students from all backgrounds. The curriculum starts with foundational skills and builds up to advanced techniques, so you’ll be supported every step of the way.

- Primary software: Ableton Live
- Hardware at the lab: MIDI controllers (keyboards, Ableton Push, Novation Launchpad), audio interfaces, microphones,
- You’ll learn to use tools like Simpler, Drum Rack, and various audio effects
4. 🗓️ What’s the time commitment like?
- Weekly sessions during the semester (typically 2 hours each) with option to hang out afterwards for lunch and free jam sessions
- Additional rehearsals before showcases
- Two major performance opportunities: PLUG IN Showcase (internal) and NUS Arts Festival (public)
